Will You Help?
On Saturday, November 19, an article in the Temple Telegram told of the Salvation Army's need for volunteer churches to help with the Feed My Sheep project, which provides meals to those who had been served by Martha's Kitchen. I called Martha’s Headquarters to inquire about their needs. The Salvation Army serves 200 sandwiches every day. The food for the sandwiches is provided by the Salvation Army. What is needed is people to make the sandwiches in their churches. Two people can do this in about four hours; four people in two hours, etc. If you would be interested in helping with this project, contact the Mission Circle (Allyn Testroet or Karrie Brashear) or Beverly Bonnet.
