 There is a Sunday School class for any age and interest each Sunday at 10 a.m. Christian Education is not confined to the classroom at Grace, and includes offerings for all ages and in many forms.
Bible study is available through women’s circles, Logos, Children’s ministry, Youth Fellowship, and study/prayer groups which meet during the week. The Annual Bible Bowl is a fun event for all ages. Special course opportunities are also offered including:
- Brown Bag Seminars – educational presentations on various topics of interest
- Children at the Table – introductory course for 5-7 years to the Lord’s supper
- 4-5 Year Olds’ Prayer Class – teaches the fundamentals of a prayerful life
- C.L.E.R. Ministries – human sexuality course for 4th-6th graders
- What It Means to be a Presbyterian Christian – new member class
- Officer Training
- Christmas Pageant
- Confirmation – preparatory class for 7th – 8th grade students
- Children's musical drama

Christian Education Updates May 2012
May 6th- Teacher Appreciation Sunday: Please make plans to be present at the Worship Services to show our thanks to our very dedicated Sunday School Teachers. They will be recognized at the services for their preparation and the love they show us week after week as they teach us God’s Word.
May 20th- Graduation Luncheon: There are more details about this exciting event in our church’s life in this newsletter. Please put this date on your calendar and join your church family in honoring our graduating seniors this year. We want to send them off with our Best Wishes! See you at lunch on the 20th!
Summer Sunday School: June-July we change Sunday School up for the young people of Grace. This year we are very excited to offer a study in Old Testament Heroes for Grades k-5th. Middle Schoolers- make plans to attend every Sunday –we are working on something very new and different for your age group. Stay tuned for more details! You will find a sign up chart on the CE Board- across from the Computer Lab where you can sign up to help make these Summer experiences happen for the children of Grace. WE NEED YOU!!!!! We are even planning a SS teacher training for those signing up to help educate our children. Any questions please call the office or Carla Stanley 773-8053.
Vacation Bible School: Allyn and her team are making plans for a wonderful evening VBS. Mark June 11-14th on your calendar- evening from 5:45-8:00p.m. Plan to join us for a light supper followed by classes from Pre-K – Adult. More details as Allyn reveals them !

Spring Cleaning has taken place at Grace this past month. A HUGE thank you goes to the "clean team"- Jennie Miller, Sandy Mason, Patti Smith and Carla Stanley for coming out and cleaning the Crossroads Classroom and the CE Office. You will notice a new look in those rooms. Stay tuned for the "next " cleanout- coming up soon. Please let the CE Committee know if you love to clean and organize- we NEED you!
